Creative Writing from Art
A series of ekphrastic workshops by Lorette C. Luzajic
7:00 to 8:30 pm
Creative writing from art is an amazing way to stretch your imagination in poetry and prose, and the process teaches us how to look more deeply at art, enriching our creative experiences.
Lorette C. Luzajic is a visual artist herself who is especially passionate about art history. She is the founder and editor of The Ekphrastic Review (ekphrastic.net). In the workshops, you'll learn more about a wide variety of art from past to present, find new ways of looking at art, and use it all to unleash unexpected directions in writing.
Each session will involve a variety of creative exercises in looking and in writing poetry and short prose, and lively discussion about art and writing. All are welcome, whether seasoned writers or first time poets.
Registration is required.

Please pay by interac e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 6 to reserve your seat.
